OriginWise is a local-first web app. We design the product so personal check history stays on your device whenever possible.
You can delete this data anytime in Settings → Delete local data.
When you run a check, the product name/text and optional compressed photo are sent to our Cloudflare Pages Function, which proxies to AI providers (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenAI, xAI, Anthropic) using our server keys. Requests are rate-limited. We do not create user accounts or keep a server-side diary of your history.
We may use Google Tag Manager when a container ID is configured for the
deployment (build env VITE_GTM_ID). If unset, no GTM script is
loaded. Configure GTM/GA in Google’s console for retention and consent as
needed.
When GTM is enabled, the app sends screen names (Check, History, Settings, About, How it works) and anonymized actions such as starting or finishing a check, error codes, and support-link clicks. Product names, photos, result text, and error messages are not sent to analytics.
The app itself does not require login cookies. Third-party analytics may set cookies according to their policies.
